arge
spaces often require a large, bold, visual
statement. Sometimes a mural is the best
solution for such a daunting space. Consider
commissioning a Patricia Freeman-Martin mural.
She is currently accepting mural commissions and
is looking forward to giving your environment a
dose of magic!
Mural work perfectly suits Patricia's style of
painting. In a mural, her expressive lines
combined with her bright colors beautifully
carry the composition and subject. These
paintings have no trouble holding their own out
in the world. Patricia loves narrative paintings
and working on a large scale.
"Paris", is Patricia's most recent mural. The 4'
x 30' drawing, executed in charcoal and pastel,
lights up the entire rear mezzanine of Bella
Main Street Market in downtown Baker City.
The store is owned and operated by her good
friend Beverly Calder. Several years ago, the
two of them spent 10 days sightseeing in Paris.
After the trip, Beverly asked Patricia to do
group of paintings for a gallery show in the
store to celebrate their great trip. When
Beverly moved her store to its new location, she
wanted Patricia's art to give the store a unique
look. They used the Paris paintings as a
starting point for the mural.
"Paris" is popular in town with visitors and
locals. Many residents of Baker City people make
sure to take visitors to see the "great store"
with the "wild" mural.
